Will this work?
Here's exactly what we promise. Your card will be live on the agreed pages, identical for readers and crawlers, with every claim verified. Every week you'll see whether AI crawlers fetched it and whether your facts surface in answers from four engines, with the raw answers attached. What we can't promise is that any AI engine will cite you or repeat your facts. The engines decide that, and anyone who guarantees it is guessing. Engines take weeks to recrawl pages and reflect new sources, which is why the first term is three months. And if your card isn't live, or a major engine is blocking the host pages, you don't pay for those days.
Isn't this just native advertising?
It is advertising, and every card says so. The difference is what the unit is allowed to say and who it's built for. A native ad persuades. A Verified Facts card states 3 to 5 checkable facts, each linked to a public source we verified before it ran and re-check every week. It's rendered into the page's HTML so AI crawlers can read it, not just people. And it's measured by whether your facts show up in AI answers, not only by clicks.
What if an AI engine ignores or blocks sponsored content?
Engines choose which sources to use, and some may give sponsored content less weight. We don't try to get around that by hiding what the card is, because hiding it is exactly what gets content blocked. Advo is built so there's nothing to catch: one page for everyone, a clear label, no hidden text, and robots.txt respected. If a major engine (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini) blocks or excludes a host page, the Live Guarantee means you aren't billed for those days. Your answer checks show the effect either way.
Is this cloaking?
No. Cloaking means showing crawlers different content from what people see. Advo does the opposite. The card is part of the page’s HTML, and every visitor gets the same HTML, whether it’s a reader, GPTBot or ClaudeBot. Our integrations read the user agent only to count AI crawler visits, never to change what’s served. You can check any page yourself with our free Symmetry Check.
How is this different from AEO monitoring tools?
Monitoring tools show how your brand appears in AI answers. That's useful, but it doesn't change what the sources say. Advo does: it puts verified facts on the pages AI assistants read, then measures whether they surface. The two work well together. If you already use a monitoring tool, Advo gives you something to act on when it shows a gap.
What does it cost?
Advertisers pay a flat monthly fee per placement. A placement is one Verified Facts card on one publisher's topic cluster for one month, for example all of a review site's CRM reviews and “best CRM” guides. The fee depends on how much AI crawler traffic the cluster gets and how closely it fits your category. Every placement includes the Live Guarantee. The first term is three months, then month to month. There's no CPM, no pay-per-click and no auction. We share pricing on the call. For publishers, Advo costs nothing: setup and crawler analytics are free, and launch publishers keep 70% of every placement on their pages.
Is anything live yet?
Not yet, and we’d rather say so plainly. Our launch program is open to the first 10 B2B software publishers and 10 advertisers who join. No placements are running today. The product spec, the Advo Standard and the commercial terms are set. One thing you can use right now: Symmetry Check, which is live.
Who decides where a card appears?
The advertiser and the publisher, together. We propose topic clusters that fit the advertiser's category, the advertiser sees the pages before anything runs, and the publisher approves the advertiser. Publishers can decline any advertiser and remove any card at any time. A page never carries more than one card.
Can I say my product is the best?
Only if a named, current, third-party source says so, and the card attributes it. “The #1 CRM for startups” won’t run. “Free plan for up to 3 users,” linked to your pricing page, will. Competitor comparisons follow the same rule. The full claims policy is in the Advo Standard.
What does a publisher install?
One of three integrations, all server-side: a WordPress plugin, a React/Next.js component, or an HTML API for any other stack. Each renders the card into your HTML before the page is sent, so it works with page caching and needs no JavaScript. Each includes a small counter that logs AI crawler visits, which gives you free crawler analytics before you take on any sponsor.
Does Advo touch the publisher's editorial?
Never. Advo doesn't change a word of the article, a rating or a ranking. The card sits in a clearly separate box, says “Ad,” names the advertiser and carries only sourced facts. Publishers approve every advertiser, choose which sections carry cards and can remove any card whenever they want.
Do you track readers?
No. The card sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript and collects no personal data from readers. Crawl confirmations come from the user agent on each request, and human impressions and clicks are aggregate counts.
